Fairview House,
Albany
Located in the prestigious Fairview Heights residential area, this home is positioned on a challenging, steep 586-square-meter section, offering unique design opportunities.
To make the most of the terrain, we designed the structure across three levels, creating a modern, innovative solution tailored to our client, who is also a builder.
With six bedrooms, the home is designed to accommodate multiple generations under one roof. Through a thoughtful layout and design flow, the space includes a spacious open-plan living area with soaring 3-meter-high ceilings, complemented by a coffered ceiling, a contemporary kitchen, and a minimalist Japanese garden. These elements work together to reflect the homeowner’s refined taste and attention to detail.
Externally, the residence adopts a clean, timeless palette. The facade combines brick coated with a specialised plaster system, Hermpac vertical cedar boards, and James Hardie Oblique cladding, materials chosen to blend harmoniously with the surrounding environment while achieving a minimalist, modern character.
Our comprehensive consent drawing documentation, spanning 75 pages, ensures every aspect of the design adheres to the highest standards, guaranteeing both aesthetic quality and regulatory compliance.
