Ginkgo Architectural Design offers a comprehensive one-stop solution for all your architectural design needs: From bespoke homes to dynamic commercial projects, we deliver tailored, innovative designs with meticulous attention to detail, turning every vision into a living reality. The services we offer generally follow the 4 stages below:
01.
Concept Design Stage
At the beginning of the project, we will sit down with you to discuss your general requirements and stylistic preferences. This initial meeting helps us understand the specifics of your project and outline the level of service we will provide. Following this, we will prepare one or two concept designs along with 3D renderings to visually represent the project. These designs will address your brief, regulatory requirements, and the site conditions.
02.
Developed Design Stage
During this stage, we will further develop the concept design, incorporating input from other consultants. We will develop detailed drawings that include openings, basic fixtures, dimensions, etc. This phase addresses the buildability of your house, selects materials and finishes, and details for getting plans ready for Resource Consent lodgement through a consultant planner is also a major part of this stage.
03.
Detailed Design Stage
This stage involves preparing working drawings and specifications based on the approved developed design, incorporating input from other consultants. These drawings and specifications are prepared to a level that will form the basis for an application for Building Consent.
04.
Site Observation Stage
At Ginkgo, our teams work seamlessly during the construction stage. We are licensed to build your house and provide constant site observation to ensure that the site work aligns with our drawings.
During the construction phase, we can assist with facilitating subcontractors, estimating materials, conducting site inspections, and monitoring progress payment claims. We can compile and apply for the Code Compliance Certificate (CCC) at the end of the construction phase.
